Shinjuku, Tokyo

ANELLA CAFE is a rescue dog and cat adoption cafe located in Ichigayayanagicho, Shinjuku City, Tokyo, just a minute on foot from Ushigome-yanagicho Station. The name Anella comes from the Hawaiian word for angel, reflecting the cafe's mission of connecting visitors with rescued animals waiting for new families. Inside, guests can relax and interact with friendly rescue cats and dogs in a warm, home-like environment welcoming to couples, families, and solo visitors alike. Every animal in residence is available for adoption, and the team also hosts grooming services and adoption events to help each cat and dog find a forever home.
