Cusco

Catfetín, located in the historic center of Cusco, Peru, is the country’s first cat café, founded in 2018 by mother-daughter duo Yolanda and Gabriela, passionate cat lovers dedicated to feline welfare. This female-led establishment combines a cozy café experience with a mission-driven cat sanctuary, offering visitors a chance to enjoy Peruvian coffee, homemade treats, board games, and books while interacting with adoptable rescue cats in the separate "Zona Michi" lounge. With a focus on sustainability, 100% of the lounge’s entry fees support the cats’ care, including spaying/neutering and adoption efforts, fostering a unique space where cat lovers can connect with felines and contribute to reducing feline overpopulation. Catfetín blends cultural charm, ethical dining, and cat therapy, making it a must-visit for locals and tourists alike.
