Cat Cafes in Nijmegen, Gelderland

Nijmegen, Gelderland

Kattencafé Balthazar sits on Van Welderenstraat in the heart of Nijmegen, offering a relaxed spot to enjoy lunch, coffee, and homemade pastries alongside six resident cats. No reservation is needed for a casual visit, though their high tea experience requires advance booking. The feline residents each bring their own personality to the space. Moes, the group elder, prefers her favorite window cushion and gentle cuddles. Siblings Nori and Maki have grown up here together, with Nori often found on the rope bridge while Maki charms guests into lap time. Wolfje, a hybrid Sphynx, loves snuggling under blankets during cooler months. Karel has a playful streak and will fetch paper balls like a puppy, and Spruit balances her bold energy with surprisingly loud purrs when she settles down for affection.
