Cat Cafes in Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Catfeine Cat Cafe is a cozy, cage-free lounge fostering adoptable cats from four local nonprofit rescues: All Aboard, Puurrrfect Paws, Rutherford County Cat Rescue, and Spay It Forward. Visitors aged 10 and up can book one-hour sessions for $14 to interact with the cats, while those aged 7-9 can enjoy 15-minute walk-in visits with an adult, helping socialize the cats and boost adoptions (over 850 since opening in 2019). The cafe offers a self-serve coffee bar with a bean-to-cup machine, cold drinks, and pre-packaged snacks like cat-shaped cookies, all served in lidded cups for safety in the lounge. Run by owners Curtis and Taura Byrd, it emphasizes a relaxed vibe, with a $150 adoption fee per cat (paid to the rescues) and additional support options via donations or an online store.
