Cat Cafes in Kunitachi, Tokyo

Kunitachi, Tokyo

Yahoneko Cat Cafe occupies a cozy second-floor space in Kunitachi, a quiet residential area west of central Tokyo near Yaho Station on the JR Nambu Line. The cafe is home to more than thirty resident cats, each with a distinct personality described in detail on the website. Visitors can meet gentle seniors like Hatchan, born in 2010, alongside playful youngsters such as Choco, the newest arrival who loves climbing onto laps. The cafe operates on a flexible time-based system, offering everything from brief visits to unlimited stays, with optional drink bar service and cat treats available for purchase. Guests are welcome to photograph the cats freely, and private rentals can be arranged on weekday mornings for small groups. Children aged five and older may visit when accompanied by someone sixteen or older.
