Opened on April 15, 2023, by Nicole Jacobson and her daughter Skye, the cafe offers a cat lounge where guests can spend an hour with adoptable cats from Shelby Humane for $10, which includes a complimentary single-serve coffee, tea, or cold beverage. Skye, a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and Reiki master, leads beginner-friendly yoga classes—$10 each or available through monthly and yearly passes—using props like yoga wheels, straps, and bolsters, with inclusive offerings such as cat yoga on Saturdays and sessions designed for bigger bodies. The Catfe also provides angel card readings ($40 for 30 minutes or $70 for an hour) and features a small retail shop with books, crystals, and tarot cards.
