Beans Cat Café is a cozy haven for cat lovers, blending quality coffee with feline companionship. Opened in Beacon in 2020 by Jessica Cruz-Strika and Justin Strika, the café partners with Hudson Valley Animal Rescue and Sanctuary (HVARS) to house around 30 adoptable cats across their two locations, having facilitated nearly 500 adoptions. Visitors can enjoy classic espresso drinks like lattes and macchiatos, seasonal specials such as Barbie lemonade, and pastries from local bakers like Peaceful Provisions and Mad Batters, all while relaxing in a cat lounge—accessible for $7.50 per half-hour or $12.50 per hour—where friendly felines roam freely in a calm, playful environment designed for their comfort and socialization.
